Well I have signed it off now as my own work, just to keep the literary critics on here happy! What's taking you so long aswan?...........
Notice the service to Graham has improved too, Joe Allen, Sig, and Dyer have all been giving him some top draw passes, into the box, let's hope that, that continues right down to the final whistle of the season!................ please log in to view this image
And what would G R Derzhavin 1743-1816 (the famous Russian poet) have to say about that Phil? Sorry Aswan... been busy at work but as the tea leaf DPJ is still claiming rights he needs to brought to rights. NAILED... and you would have got away with with it if it weren't for those pesky kids, Aswan and Swim! http://max.mmlc.northwestern.edu/~mdenner/Demo/texts/swan.htm please log in to view this image
I'd be annoyed if someone lifted one of my match previews and claimed they'd written it... Also, so many people said DG wouldn't do it... I couldn't be happier for him. No one can accuse him of scoring ugly goals either, they've included some truly excellent finishes.
Actually Scott, I'm sure I've seen part of one of your match threads somewhere else - not a forum, but a football website. Afraid I didn't make a note of it. As for this article, compare these 2 texts: "Like many at Swansea, I was very disappointed when Borini went in the way he did, without doubt a special talent, and had mixed feelings regarding Graham, when we signed him, yes he was one of the top scorers last season in the Championship, but his slow and patchy start to the Prem season continued my apprehension, on whether we had got the right replacement for Borini, don't get me wrong from the start I new Graham was good for 15 goals at this level, but what did concern me was his lack of clinical finish in front of goal, because for every goal he would score, there was alway two he would miss, and it did seem on times, that maybe the Prem was too much of a step up." Allegedly by DPJ - this article "It's easy to say this in hindsight,of course, because one can realize a more objective and philosophical take on the game. But, let's not be mistaken, this was a savage, temporary one hopes, blow to the pride, particularly after the euphoria of the previous week's win at WBA. I'll come back to that." http://pierre91.blogspot.com/ The style, with commas every few words, is remarkably similar. Am I getting warmer, Phill? PS - I'm not obsessed with this, honest.
A couple of times people have reproduced them with permission from me, tell them I'll bust their heads though if they aren't asking first! If not bust their heads, I'll at least swear fairly rudely...
face it scott, you are the best match threader in the prem, i think ppl from other threads will always pinch a wee bit
I couldn't care less if people use it on here, what bugs me is the idea of an actual journalist who gets paid lifting stuff! Takes a fair bit of research to have all the info to hand, and I don't get anything out of it so the least they could do is namecheck innit! Having said that, I haven't had any bother really.
NOTE: I have nothing to do with this particular character assassination on poor old DPJ. Honest. Really enjoying the fun you guys are having with it though. Btw, does DPJ now stand for Dragon Plagiarist Jack?
Clutching at straws aswan, clutching at straws! come on let's be having the apology, spit it out! I promise I won't laugh, swimaway, got my eye on you....................
I've just written the first verse of my latest poem - thought I'd try it out on you guys: 'Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. I'm not sure what to call it though. I thought maybe 'Wabber Jockey'. What do you think??
Now I know your off your head aswan, what do I think though? Beware the Jabberwock, my son! Hurry up with that apology you tart..............
