if this weekend highlighted one thing its that we can match anyone with our strongest 11 but outside of that 11 we're pretty average. sunderland have way better strength in depth. if we keep everyone fit then we'll finish above them if not then we'll slip away badly.

We have a fight on our hands to finish 8th, no way will we finish any higher. I see a straight fight between ourselves and Everton for 8th spot.A little bit of luck and a relative injury free run in and we have a great chance.

I'm having my lunch so I'm chilled Syd. Lol

I can't see us catching them now tbh. Not enough games left and 9 points is a fairly large deficit imo. We needed to be within 3 or 4 by the derby imo to have something to go at.

I'd still love it........... I mean really love it if we beat them though. Lol

It depends how NUFC respond to the hiding they got at the weekend, but yes, I think we can catch them and I think 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th will be Everton, Sunderland, Newcastle and Norwich. It may be so close that all four may come down to goal difference. Atleast it will be an exciting finish to the season for mid-table supremacy!!

We have an outside shot of 4th, but we'd need to be incredibly consistent to achieve that. Anywhere from 5th to 7th is realistic for us barring a monumental cock up. For you, anywhere from 8th to 10th would be a good season after how much Brucey cocked up the first 3rd of the season.

Boro are in the championship, but I'm not sure what the relevance of that is to my predictions on Newcastle and Sunderlands finishing positions? As I said Newcastle in 7th and the unwashed in 9th. I don't think the chemical brothers come into it and have little relevance to the North East mini league of mediocrity. (I couldn't give a **** about finishing above Sunderland. I'm old school and the derbies are where bragging rights will always lie)
