Watching the African Cup of Nothing final. Unfortunately missed Drogba missing a pen. Not a great game but the absence of diving, simulation and writhing in agony after contact is really refreshing. Haven't seen much of this tournament but my son reckons most games have been like this. Almost cheered me up. Max Gradel looking good. Where did he end up?

I didn't watch it, but followed it. I love the fact that Drogba cost his country the ACON, and that the underdogs have won They honour it highly in Africa i think
The shoot out was made all the more sweeter by Drogba ballooning a normal time pen over the bar and then pointing to the spot trying to blame that when he didnt slip at all.
Was a brilliant shootout and a fantastic story after what happened to the Zambian team in the 90s. Drogba's penalty was great comedy value, Gervinho completely bottled it, there was some sort of tribe doing a war dance with the trophy. Everything you could ever want.
Get in. Zambia are the champs. Loving it! Beat the 3 fans, Senegal, Ghana and now Ivory Coast. Destiny's children prevail! BOOM!
