  3. Barton - There is no opinion in this matter. No wins without him.

Will you shut up about him? People are allowed to disagree with you. Barton isnt necessarily the best.

Spot on Smudger. Yes Barton's a very good player but isn't exactly top-class.

Between Tiote and Enrique for me.

On Kuqi, leave the bloke alone. He's not the best, he knows it but he's a professional player who signed to cover our injury problems.

  10. Enrique and Tiote are both better dribblers, better paced and stronger, but Barton is our most vital player, shown by the stats. Barton's deliveries aren't the only good aspect about him, he's also good in defense with his tracking back and tackling ability. He's the man that makes our vision become a reliality.

Barton may be our most vital player but that dosnt make him our best.

    I think its:
    1. Tiote
    2. Enrique
    3. Barton

They are all important to the team and we need them all to play at our best

    In terms of ability:

    1. Enrique
    2. Tiote
    3. Ben Arfa (probably)

In terms of other things like influence:

    1. Nolan
    2. Barton
    3. Harper

WHile Nolan does bring leadership to the team and his goal poaching ability,he does have the habit of disappearing sometimes during the game. From what I've seen of best, he seems to run his socks off.

I thought it strange that Kevin Nolan hadn't made it into the list - top player in my opinion.

Tiote and Barton are the best in my opinion. Both been excellent.
As for Shols being loyal to the club! You what? What have been his options ? To go into the fizzy pop league OR stay at St James's on a fat salary in the premiership and play 10-15 games a season and get away with it ! This is not loyalty its just good fortune on his part. Most non-starters would have been shipped out 6 years or so ago !!!!!
However, keep him just for his knack of scoring against empty seats down the road

Spot on. Ameobi has hardly resisted calls from big teams to stick with us. He hasn't really had a choice. We've never really known just how faithful he is because sticking with NUFC has always been the best option in terms of wages and easiness.

I do like Ameobi, he feels like a rock in the NUFC side and I'd never like to get rid of him, but he ain't a good player, and he isn't good enough for us as a first team striker at all. 4 goals in 22 EPL matches, then 10 goals in 18 Championship matches, and then back to 4 goals in 22 EPL matches so far. When we're aiming high, that's quite poor really.

'Rewarding him for his loyalty' is nonsense though. We need to score goals and win games. Period.

Ameobi is not good enough for NUFC any more IMO, used to be a decent player back when we were in Europe but since then all he's had is a few good runs(05-06/09-10/10-11).. but otherwise he's been inconsistent, injury prone, slow, lazy and generally awful. Don't rate him at all and deadwood like him should be sold in the summer IMO.. nothing against the lad, just think he's Championship standard.
