Kenny hasn't made a comment on the matter because he hasn't had enough time to reflect on what has happened. The media are vultures...I'm sure he will not be happy with Suarez's decision and I feel that he will make it clear how he feels towards him during the week. What matters now is how we approach the next game.
Yea, what happens next? We do not know, and that is the problem. We have more sides than a dice. We can beat any team in there day, and will then draw against Cardiff, we need to sort it out, it is not acceptable. Please can we can we just stop fu*king around and do over the bottom teams.
Baz...you are starting to sound like me after the Stoke/Bolton games. What happened to the positivity? I know it has been a **** week of results but you/we have to remember that the hardest fixtures we have left is Arsenal and Chelsea whom we are only 4 points behind. The way things are going for our club off the field though, I can only concede that a Cardiff victory in the final is a win for football. It's hard for us Liverpool fans to concede, but find me a fan of football who can honestly say that they would rather see us win a trophy this season. I hope we can overcome our current image before we start improving our results.
This. As an outsider, this whole thing appears to have been handled shockingly by LFC. As a result, they are being seen as supporting someone who has been found guilty of racist comments (which decision was not appealed!!) In the last week, instead of doing the responsible thing, by damping down the flames, Dalglish actually fanned them, by his comments, which obviously embolded Suarez to do what he did yesterday. Result? Front page news this morning. Liverpool fans, may like to follow the example of "KK" and blame the media for the three ring circus that has now been going on for months. However, a gun cannot be fired without bullets, and God knows Dalglish has been supplying them by the bucketload. Truth is reality as it is perceived. What is now perceived as truth, outside Merseyside, is what is being written in the article referred to at the beginning of this thread. An example of how appallingly matters have been handled, at LFC's end is that they have managed to allow SAF to come out of the whole affair as the good guy! What must LFC's owners be thinking, back in New Jersey, let alone potential sponsers?
i bet standard chartered executives will be really chuffed. their £20M a season is money well spent.
Yea, sorry, was having a bit of a rant there. Was a s*it day yesterday, hard to stay positive with all that BS going on.
Fergie is being bitter? I think the only thing you can accuse Fergie of, in light of his post-match comments yesterday, is for having more respect for Liverpool and their history / reputation than most of the Liverpool fans do. So many of you seem happy to see the name of your club tarnished, shamed and dragged through the mud - in the name of a Uruguayan footballer.
