Just watched MOTD and found myself thinking...'Kenny's just not up to standard.' Don't know if Cerny would be any better, at least one of those should have been saved. Kenny was great for us in the Championship...but as has been said on here many times...no room for sentiment now. That said...there is also no room for bringing in a new keeper, so maybe lets try Cerny.

Think they only had two shots on target, plus the Onuoha deflection, all went in. He was also nowhere near Yaks chip which hit the bar. Bad day at the office or end of the road?

Have always thought Cerny better, but Paddy played better when he came back from injury. But recently. no, he needs benching and quick!

Kenny is just another of our Championship winning team that sadly is not good enough for the Premiership.

Lets be honest we over acheived last year and for many reasons, not least of which our previous owners refusal to use any money to strengthen the team, mthe chickens are cominh home to roost

Come the start of next season - wherever we might be - I dont expect more than 1 or 2 players from the 2010-11 team surviving.

I also expect, come what may, Barton, SWP and Boothroyd to be gone too. We shall not miss them

I thought it was the first that looked like it might have been saved. Their third was utter fluke consistent with our luck this season. 99% of those shots would be out for a corner.

So very sadly, Kenny is representative of our Premier League season - nearly (but not quite) good enough.

Paddy is not a prem goalie anymore. He has lost his quickness and reaction ability and if the shooted ball goes between the posts and isnt shooted straight towards at him we are in trouble. We should put Cerny in for next matches or maybe even consired Murphy. How good goalie is Murphy anyway?

Whilst Paddy seems to have come in for a bit of critism, I would just like to ask who could do better with a defence that appears to have changed week in week out?
In my opinion, alot of what has gone wrong can be directed back to the start of the season when we needed time to invest in players that would have helped us hold our own in this league. We needed a new goalie then - not only / just to replace Paddy, but to give him competition and then the manager would have had a difficult decision over who to pick. Having watched MOTD last night, Yakubu's turn for the first goal. Why wasn't the defender watching the ball instead of playing statues? I think for the second goal we had 5 players in the box against 2...and the ball ends up in the net.
My point is that whilst Paddy is the last line of the defence, we desparately need a solid back 4. I also believe that we should consider selling Barton - mainly because that every club he leaves seems to show massive improvements on the park. Not suggesting he is a bad player, it's just he baggage that always comes with a player like him.
MH please please please dp all you can to get the man mountain called Chris Samba at club club. Pair him with Anton in the middle, Onouha on the right side (or Luke Young) and Taiwo on the left. Would also suggest uyou have a word with Robinson as he would prove competition to PK and it would certainly give PK a kick up the arse - and hopefully he will raise his game further.

Who could do better? Id take any one of the PL goalies over Kenny, hes rooted to the spot for every shot and only moves once the ball is past him, the 1st goal went right in the middle of the goal, it was an easy save.

Kenny is average at best, an injured Kenny is abysmal, how much worse can you get when you let in every shot on target?

Last season, I remember being impressed time and again with the saves that Paddy made. I just haven't had the same feeling this season and, as said elsewhere, he moved the wrong way for two of the Blackburn goals before diving late in the right direction. I've had this uneasy feeling for several of the goals conceded this season. Added to his mediocre performance with crosses (when did he last intercept a cross or go out to claim a corner?), this spells trouble. He may still be injured, the defence may not be helping but he's not an athlete and, as said elsewhere, even the poor Premier League teams seem to have goalies who can save them (eg Hennessey) .

Nevertheless, after a strong start when he first arrived at QPR, I seem to recall Cerny lost it a bit and I'm not sure a couple of good games earlier this season qualifies him for a comeback. So, I have no answer and I'm very worried.

Agree with most above. Kenny was solid last year but anything but this year. Time to pitch the three of them against each other now. Let form dictate who plays atm.

First goal went in the middle of the goal at a saveable speed, breakfast for an average keeper! I could have caught that!

Cerny shouldn't have been dropped after putting in some decent performances. Hes not the best either but hes better than Kenny. Kenny's lardy ass has caught him out big-time. You just can't afford to be that overweight in the quickest league in the world. No wonder he only ever played one relegation season at this level before.

    Hes one hungry git.

Can't quite believe the way everyone is turning on Paddy, with Ruislip even suggesting he's doing it on purpose!!!! WTF!!? Paddy is not the reason we're where we are!!
