who is the best player in the gills squad tell me also if different who is your player of the year my favorite player is simon king but he is far from player of the year i belive best current players r jack payne, bayo akinfenwa, cody mac and matt lawerance also barcham, weston and richards r doin well
my favorite player is still simon king aswell but player of the year has to be cody mcdonald or maher as he has yturned around no competition on young player of the year sadly as that is jack payne

hessenthaler is a complete legend dont diss LOL jack payne is definatly going to be the new hessenthaler reasons are that he is defensive midfield he is a leader and he does what it says on the tin helps in midfield and defends and is also part of the playmaker catergory he is brill and will be a complete star for us like he is now and the fun thing is that he is only going to get better and he is only about 19 years old people should remember that

yh that is what he is like he is brill lol that was near the end of his career i remember him going out on loan i was upset about that as he was our manager at the time he stood down and then left on loan
I haven't seen anything of Gills except what's on the Football League Show, but I went for Akinfenwa, seems to regularly pop up with a few goals... Hope you make it up this year.
yh i believe that akinfenwa is good he has been good all round as he is of the type of playmaker as well as being a good goalscorer he is probs best gills player if u dont count cody mac
Barcham is class, but player of the year when he's been injured for large parts of it? I had to go for McDonald, played in most games, looks likely to get 20+ goals for the season, always gives 100%.
yeah i have faith that he may reach 25 just hope he keeps banging them in and he will be there very soon
Yeah fair point, however if I were to choose an alternative it would be Bayo who has been unselfish in playing the assist role for Cody.
Yeah i agree akinfenwa has been a good linchpin he has been priceless to us with how many shots and goals he has set up considering he is normally the top scorer he has definatly changed his style he is a completely quality player and hope we keep hold of him
