today was awful any fans that went to the games should get a refund. but lets look at the positives. -cabaye served the last match of his suspension. -next game tiote will be back -we didn't get any injuries. -yes we conceded a lot but next game (wolves) the players will have something to prove. -Ferguson looked decent when he came on especially as he hasn't played in a while. -and there is now no chance of pardew becoming England manager or spurs manager if arry goes. - and finally we don't have to play spurs every week. now excuse me whilst i go and bury my head in the sand.
Today just proved how important Tiote and Saylor are to the team. WIlliamson looked lost and the whole back 4 just wandered to the high line again. Tiote will hopefully put a stop to that. Luckily the next two teams we're playing don't have a particularly fast front two so we shouldn't be punished as much
hehe SAFC supporter the Spurs result cheered me up, and we will beat Arsenal next week (they were lucky we were crap in the second half) and go on the f a cup run!.
neither did fulham and they spanked us pardews high line just doesnt work :-( we really do miss STEVIE T and tiote
Only the sickest of all Mike Ashley's suck-up's could find any positives in a 5-0 Premier League defeat. Well done.
To be perfectly honest we came up against a much better team playing great football and we didn't have the players to prevent a stuffing. Any club would miss tiote and cab from their midfield and we were overrun! That said, we've got our first choice midfield back next game against a wolves side who really are ****, we've had a drubbing but we're a point off 4th in the middle of February HTL
**** happens, they're a very good side. I thought we had to go one way or the other tactically and Pardew got caught in the middle playing 442. I thought either attack or go really negative. Sometimes when you play stronger sides, particularly when you have key men out, you have to go with a specific way if playing rather than standard stuff, feeling your way into game. Like we with Man U. Not worried at all because we were never likely to get anything, and we have our 2 best midfielders back next game. I think Jonas is badly in need of a rest and young Fergie looks desperate for games. I'd look to give him two starts and allow Jonas to recharge and attack the 2nd half of the season. Also now is the time to get Benni some games as Obertan is woefully short of confidence. Yet to be convinced he has a future with us. We may regret not getting that centre back with pace come the end of the season.
