Redfearn knows the players, the players like Redfearn...but that doesn't make him a good manager. I'm not saying whether or not he could be a good manager or not, he may turn out to be one if he's given the chance, but I don't really want to find out. Lets just get a proven manager in, on a basis until the end of the season and then go from there. There's 16 games left this season, we're near the playoffs and have just as much chance as the teams around us of finishing top 6. If we get someone in now, we could easily be looking at promotion in May. If we don't, we could drop too far behind and regret it. Warnock is available and would thrive in one last chance at a big club.
It show's you something about the owner when he doesn't bother turning up. Bates is so clueless, it's laughable.
As soon as Redfearn sent out Larrys team selection against Bristol, it was obvious he had no idea either. Cue playing a half decent team and the inevitable defeat. Redfearn has an appalling record with lower league teams. He was also culpable in Scarborough going out of business after 130 years. I'd rather the squad decided their tactics by drawing straws than have this clown in charge, but of course, for that **** Bates its another cheap option.
Ermm we had a good manager! Your making the wrong request... What you should be asking is.. Can we have a real CHAIRMAN now? Then you'd be on the right track!!..
Why sack grayson and then get your reserve manager to do the job using the same players and tactics. ****ing ridiculous
