BBC Reporter Mark Daly just tweeted: @markdaly2 Mark Daly I'm told former Rangers chairman Alistair Johnston has formally requested the Insolvency Service to investigate the takeover by Craig Whyte
You're getting ahead of yourself, Timmy. Just because a formal request has been made doesn't mean an investigation will follow. I requested my hole the other night, but I didn't get it.
Aye, but you didn't even buy me a pint - it was a request without sweetener. Be nicer to me next time and you might get lucky.

I requested my hole the other night, but I didn't get it, Tarquin Biscuit Barrel . Its not quite the same, you had to bring something to the party and as usual you did not rise to the occasion. I don't think last year's hero will be found wanting.
email from a hun acquaintance: I feel tht we are in a uncertain position with the tax case looming over us, however unlike most Rangers fans I trust Craig Whyte, right now he is protecting the club and preparing us for Administration if it comes which it loos like. I am relabily informed if we lose the tax case and go into Administration, as our main creditor, Craig Whyte will basically inherit a debt free club by paying HMRC in the region of about £5-£10m no where near the £49m they want! Craig Whyte has been smart in the way he has taken the Ticketus and the Lloyds debt not back to the club but his own private company meaning they are the clubs main creditor to she sum as I believe it of around £60m. Therefore Craig Whyte has a plan and I can safely say: "In Craig Whyte we trust"
