New Mod

Hello Swans, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend. Jager is taking a back seat on the board so I need a new mod to take his place, you know your fellow fans better than me so who do you want and will he take the job.

I need someone who is laid back and fair, who is easy going and can laugh, mature and sensible and who can give a bit of time, above all who is respected and trusted by the Swans posters.

Its not a full time 24 hours a day role but it can take up some time, all made easier by lots of responsible self moderation by you lot.

I will leave this up over the weekend then hopefully we will have a new mod.

Over to you, BTW its Swansea fans I'm talking to, just for those visitors who I'm sure will want their say.

not a bad idea, many boards do have people from your end of the world and it works well, we have a xpat now in Thailand and every moring I read the posts from him, NZ, Australia, they have their own little thing going, plus us old buggers who cant sleep

Just a thought but how about someone like clingo as the third mod on the Swan board & maybe someone like Ivor as a third mod on the Bluebird board ... like I say , just a thought !

 

I would like to recommend Norway, Musty, or Aswan, if it's of any use to you Syd!...........

I have looked at your posts Swamp and I am interested in a cardiff opinion because the Swansea/ Cardiff rivalry is a flashpoint but can be a good debating point. However suggestions on getting rid of Swansea mods is unhelpful and causes half the trouble.

On most boards with rivalry they work because the mods have good rivalry but dont hate the other side. I dont know the perole mentioned but not hating Cardiff is important, you need to work together not fight each other.

Definitely not me. I fail on the 'laid back' bit and most of the other criteria.

No offence to Norway but ditto for him. I don't think it's appropriate that a poster who has openly stated he gets a rise out of winding up his fellow Jacks gets the job as a mod. Just my opinion.

 

i'm on here a fair bit, i'm entitled to my opinion whether you like it or not its not your board and i assume syd you can see my posts despite them being deleted, bongo and bonymaen jack are both liked and respected by both sides, i dont know about musty, nothing against him personally but he has been banned from the cardiff board for a few weeks, other than that its a good list

 

I don't have any problems with H, but swamp is a complete Muppet, and his views are of no interest on the Swansea selection of another mode, unless of course Syd would allow me to vote Swampy off the Cardiff board, which I doubt, so keep your big snout out Swampy dear! Your always welcome though Sparkey, how about you for a Swansea Mod, that should be some fun..............

i'm allowed to have my opinion so other users can see it, this isnt your forum, why do you keep deleting everything, and you say you would vote to remove me as mod....well find 10 people to back you up, i'm not alone in what i say, practically every cardiff board member wants you out

for crying out loud, at least the supermod can see everything your doing now!

 

I guess cross board mods are out of the question then .... Phil , your getting an itchy trigger finger there . The man at the top is trying to mend fences here & your only intaginizing , intaganizing ..... getting under the Bluebirds skin .

 

I think Norway would make a very good Mod, after all he was very tolerant of your abuse Knackered, so he get's my vote, I don't think any Jack can complain regarding Norway!..............
