Just to pass on a tip on the England captain when we face France on June 11. Parker who is around 2/1. If Redknapp gets job he will become a short priced fav. Only serious rival is Gerrard and he is often injured. Fill your boots but don't shoot the messenger!

Scott Parker. If we appoint Gerrard, it smacks of hypocrisy as he also has a criminal past

    Gerrard was cleared.

Parker would be my choice though.

Can't see it being Parker tbh, will be Gerrard for the Euro's then somebody younger afterwards, Joe Hart perhaps.

Really depends on the manager, agree it's most likely to be Gerrard though. No problem with that, he seems to have the respect of all the other players and he's a good captain on the pitch at least.

Did you see the vid of him smacking the guy? For no reason. Only reason he was cleared is because he is loaded and a prem footballer.

If its Harry I can see the team being something like

    Hart
    Richards/Walker/Johnson
    Dawson
    King
    Cole
    Lennon
    Parker
    Gerrard
    Joe Cole
    Defoe
    Rooney

Yes I've seen the video, but I'm prepared to leave it to the judge and jury, with all the evidence available to them, to decide if it was for no reason.

And jurys are so much kinder to loaded people rather than your average person, oh wait, theyre not, most people like to see the rich and famous taken down a peg or 2 in the media so I see no reason why 12 randomly selected members of the general public would be any different.

It's called being able to afford a defense team that could make even old Arry seem whiter then white. The **** some players do and get away with is mad. No normal middle class person would get away with it.

That's a fair point, we still have to assume he's innocent though really.

Yep, tbh we really should do what scotland do. They have a Not Proven verdict aswell as the not guilty /guilty verdict.(basically saying they think the person is guilty but theres not enough evidence).

No, they also needs lawyers who can advise them on which loopholes they can exploit to avoid tax. Someone I know is a lawyer who was approached by a footballer (I do not know who he would not confide) trying to set up a very dubious scheme and he wanted to know if it was legitimate.
