Really like some of these bands, and some not heard of, so I will be checking those out.

As for Johnny Marr, I'm pretty sure he left Modest Mouse when he joined up with The Cribs. I'm not sure if he's permanently with them though I'm afraid. Like Modest Mouse a lot.

I emailed the club last week about doing a Hull unsigned link up on highlights etc. I know Man City do a similiar thing, it would be great if they played some unsigned stuff over goal highlights. I got the email for a fella called Luke after much chasing around, and he said he would get back to me. Maybe we should all get onto them! Two good London bands in meantime:

Quite liked them to, see they are playing in Laandan in Apr. Not sure on the Union Jack logo though - done a hundred times.

PS If anyone from Street Parade is on here, I'd just be a little careful about coming down to play 100 club. Yes its got heritage blah blah, but a lot of bands go through there thinking its central London and will be amazing, and you end up playing to 2 confused Japanese tourists. It can be rammed but Londoners dont go there as its to expensive - its a bring-your-mates only place. If your spending a mint coming down I'd mix it up with a city match or go and play in Leeds/Manchester instead x

Cheers 4 the tip off, we weren't going to turn down a London gig so thats why we chose 27th April. This way we can tie the gig, a night out and City's final away game in one weekend.

Street Parade are in Fairview studio, Willerby this weekend to record the final tracks before releasing an album.

If you'd be so kind to 'like' us on Facebook, it would be much appreciated x

Cool stuff man. I dont like to see bands getting mugged off! You should probably try getting on a good club night or free entry set up instead - Old Blue Last or the Victoria in East are good venues and would be much better for your profile, plus have a crowd most nights. Far more likely to get spotted there by someone in the know to, 100 club is just a tourist trap. I wouldnt go out round there either!

I've done a bit of sponsorship for the band IC1's, the lead singer Dan used to work for me...

I was down Newland Ave earlier, bought a sandwich from a shop and spied a flyer for Fruit.

I can't remember the date unfortunately, but there's a band due to play there shortly named 'Wet Nuns' quite fantastically.

Know nothing about them, but with a name like that...

I should've just picked up one of the flyers shouldn't I? It's easy in retrospect.

I've played with IC1's - their guitar player kept talking about how nice his coat was, haha! They have a residency at Notting Hill arts club now. Alan McGee managers them - now there is a prize cock if ever there was one
