I think this thread may have peaked too soon. By Saturday we'll all be bantered out and just lying around exhausted. Except RHC who will be pissed as a fart as usual
Went for a United win in the poll. Obviously I don't want this, but it's what I think is likeliest. They've got to be favourites for this one, with it being at home, and it seems they're due a win over us, having played us at Anfield the past 3 times. Probably only be a goal in it, though.
By Saturday, the Mancs will be back under the rocks, and then we can have a proper football discussion without all the childish jibes.
Should have phrased it better. What i was meant to say was the Liverpool moderators should moderate this thread so that it does not continue with the bitter comments and so people can discuss the fixture without the stupid comments.
They haven't been too bitter in fairness It's not easy to keep it all about the game....this IS utd vs Liverpool at the end of the day. A bit of banter is inevitable....the match thread for the spuds was worse and that wasn't even cross-board
Don't be so silly. Looks like Nani, Jones and Smalling may all still be out for us. Tho' Cleverley may be on the bench.
<serious attempt at football discussion> United must start as favorites with home advantage, Old Trafford should be electric, expect United to be hungry to put Liverpool back in there place after being dumped out of the F.A cup. Wayne Rooney returns, and it is a given that United<cough> play better with Rooney in the side. Liverpool should not be written off though and have played some of there best football away from Anfield. With a solid defence, liverpool have enough quality to score goals on the break. All in all should be a fascinating and tense game.
Is always a tough game mate but you never know One thing's for certain they're rarely boring games (if not always free flowing). It's why we love the game so much.
There hasn't been too much said that could really be called vicious. However the banter has got us all distracted from actually talking about the game itself.
Can't see either team failing to score to be honest. So in light of that, I predict United 3-1 Liverpool.
