Not entirely true. You spent £35 million on replacing one beachball with another. And the first beachball was a damn sight more prolific in front of goal...

How about the Liverpool mods actually start moderating this, otherwise this will just continue to turn into a pointless slanging match.

At the end of the day I can understand a little bit of false bravado from the United 'faithful' You think Fergie's clever words and a few boo's at the pantomime villain Suarez will be enough to see your side sail to victory, but I am sorry it is just another clear sign of your absolute delusion. This Liverpool team ain't gunna roll over to a team with a midfield with a combined age of 145. No chance, King Kenny will see to that. This game wil only go one way. Liverpool win.

Yeah and more mobile in fairness <whistle> luckily we got Bellamy for free though <ok> and let's not forget we did get the delightful Suarez with the beachball and he does enjoy ripping your defence to shreds eh. Not all bad.

Well if you want to draw timeframe comparisons, how long did it take united to rebuild and didn't that process also include a trip to Division 2? With all things being cyclical the odds on us improving are far better then you

I was hoping we might actually be able to talk football on this thread, and leave the **** slinging to the "banter" thread.
    Silly me, oh well.....
