I really hope this move happens for Jaime. He was treated very badly, having proved his worth last season. He was still the youngest on the grid and just getting going. Marko is scum.

If F1 goes to Bahrain I shall not be watching. I believe that providing the country with an F1 race - a source of income for the regime - is wrong and Bernie must understand that or he will lose a lot of fans.
    (Plus it's boring as ****e anyway <whistle>)

    I agree with you Tom.

    Opinion:
Bernie's apparent willingness to engage in what might be regarded as unscrupulous dealings with political régimes should not extend to such an obvious hot-bed of discontent. It irritates me that he appears so consistently ready to position his 'baby' as a pawn in a game F1 would do well to steer clear of.

    Further opinion:
F1 would be better off if it simply turned its back on Bahrain - for good.

Aside from it being my favourite track on F1 06 I can't disagree here. Remember the 2010 race? <yikes>

You could say that, he's the richest man in the world. If he wants to win the World Championship, even Newey won't stop him.

Carlos Slim is the sort of guy Bernie likes to be friends with. And although I make no moral judgement whatsoever, I am sure Slim would be welcomed into F1 as surely as the likes of Rupert Murdoch; Luca di Montezemolo; and the somewhat less aristocratic pretender to Italy's pride and joy: Flavio Briattore.

Isn't Carlos Slim currently trying to get F1 back into Mexico, making a few F1 headlines in the last few months.

    ready for this...

HRT finally passed the crash test tonight (except role hoop)!! but as it took them so long to pass and used so many parts through crash testing they now have to manufacture some more which will delay the launch of thier new car till the final test in barcelona.

<laugh> Oh dear HRT. No doubt the next press release will be about a delay in manufacturing, so the car cannot be launched until Melbourne. If they won't have the car for the second test, will they even bother running?
