Can we catch Brighton?

    Firstly i am not meaning to sound cocky here, As nobody is yet guaranteed a play off place but all im asking is the title name?
    As nigel said there is 12 games left for us, which is 36 points can we make up 10? I dont see why not but the Brighton match on the 23rd of April could be a possible title decider what do you think? Whereabouts will we finish the season?

    cant see us doing it, i'll take 2nd. I think we will beat Brighton beacuse we are better than them. We are the best team in the league.
    I think we have left it too late to grab top spot, but I'm not too bothered about the league 1 crown - promotion is all that matters for me.
    The start of our season cost us, and we have been making up ground ever since

    2nd I think. They have games in hand just like is so it'll depend on how they play in the next few games. It'll depend on how we play in the next few games.

    And the result when we go to Brighton.

    I attended the Brighton game at St Marys this season and they really did look like nothing. The only thing that kept them level was Ankargren's time wasting <doh>

    No we're way too far behind I think. We would basically need to win all our remaining games which isn't going to happen. Even if we won 10 of the remaining 12 games, Brighton would only need 20 points from their last 12 games to win the league

    Assuming Brighton carry on with their average points per game the only way we can realistically over take them is to win all our remaining games then we should beat them by two points. So realistically Not sure we can do that. So to your question no I don't think we can over take them.

    2nd is realistic. Brighton are the surprise team and I respect their achievements after all they have been through. Much as I would love us to go up as champions I don't think it will happen.
    Champions: Brighton
    Runners up: The Mighty Saints
    Play off winners: Bournemouth
