It now looks certain that Harry Redknapp will be the new England manager, thank god they are not coming for O'neill.

But who will spurs want as there new gaffer?

I am worried they may come sniffing around our main man.

    What do you all reckon?:emoticon-0105-wink:

I just don't see that happening. I wouldn't bet against Moyes going there

I can't believe all this speculation regarding MON..He certainly looks to me like he is very happy just where he is..

In form managers will always have speculation, even if they have only been in a job for 2 months.

I really cant see MON going anywhere, maybe its just blind hope than ITK though, you just never know whats around the corner.

Redknapp might not even get the England job yet, tbh i cant see anyone else, but Spurs might try to cling on for dear life to keep him, or he may want to try to catch the 2 Manchester Clubs up and try to win the title with Spurs this season.

Its all pretty much up in the air until the England Manager has been appointed, what I would like to see is.

Pearce being giving the England managers Job (not sure if he is 100% ready, but better than a managerial merry go round at club level), then MON giving the task of the GB Olympic job, its only 4 weeks in the summer, and we will have him back for the new season.

If Redknapp left then I think Mourinho will be the new Spurs manager. Desperate to get back. Doubt O'Neill would want to leave so soon after joining. He's not Steve Bruce.

Jose has his house in London still.

MON will be linked with every "big" job going. We will just have to get used to it.

It makes a nice change to have a manager most clubs would be overjoyed with.

Saggy chops will not leave spurs. They have supported him throughout the last 5 years and also through his court case. If he has morals then he will stay with them.

For me the next England manager has to be Guus Hiddink. The guy knows Int'l football inside out and he is very tactically astute.

Harry will go in the Summer, it is obvious. As for who will take over my guesses are either Moyes or Mourinho, as people have said. An outside bet for Benitez though otherwise.

Am I the only one who wants Mourinho?

He loves it over here, he will protect the players something which none of the managers of late have done and he could turn any half decent team into realistic challengers.

Am I the only one that doesn't want Saggy chops to get the job? Yeah he's a good manager but at Int'l level I don't think he is the man.

For me it has to be Hiddink.

For me it has to be Arry mate. I want some good old fashioned bulldog spirit back into English football and Arry is the man for me.

Mourinhio would be god but let's be honest, would he really leave Real Madrid to come and manage such a mediocre team as England?

Mourinho ticks all the same boxes as Redknapp and then some. The only reason to pick HR over JM is nationality, and that quite frankly is simply xenophobic. As mentioned Mourinho isn't so secure at Real despite having them in a great position.

But isnt that the reason he probably wont get the England Job, he falls out with the powers that be too much, just like a certain Mr Clough used to.
