âStephane picked up a knock at the end and came off and we are hoping it is just cramp and that he does not miss out because he has not missed a game for us this year which is sensational,â âI think that Stephane is an outstanding player and I am delighted that we have him. He is really great and he hasnât missed a game this season. That is outstanding and I hope that he does not miss any and that it is just cramp and nothing else.â IF and it is an IF, IF Sess misses the league game against Arsenal how do we line up? For me... -------------------- Mignolet -------------------- - Barsdsley ---- O'Shea ---- Turner ----- Bridge -- - Larsson ----- Gardner ---- Colback --- McClean - ------------------- Richardson ------------------ -------------------- Campbell -------------------
Exactly like that for me Poolie. Play down the wings more, which in a way,is the best way to get at Arsenal. Gardner was outstanding last night, i'm comfortable with him in the centre, he looks after the ball really well, has a goal threat, and is always looking to do something. If Sess is even slightly off, he simply cannot be risked, end of.
Agree with the team Poolie (unless Catts is fit - then replace Colback with him) - I have seen a lot of people on here saying how good he was last night - I personally thought he had a poor game but all about opinions (not looking to pick a fight just thought he was far too negative every time he got the ball and also out of position a couple of times as well) Think that'd be very good for Richardson as it (IMO) is his best position... We'll see eh?
I think the guy needs a bloody rest to be honest. From what I've seen he's been in every game and never stops running when he's in them.
I agree with that team poolie, my only worry would be Bridge who has not played for a long time marking Wallcot. Maybe start like this: -------------------- Mignolet -------------------- - Barsdsley ---- O'Shea ---- Turner ----- Ricco -- - Larsson ----- Meyler ---- Colback --- McClean - ------------------- Gardner ------------------ -------------------- Campbell ------------------- Then go to your selection. Its a tough one.
I can't see how Colback could possibly be dropped after his performance last night, but as Marcus states, it's all about opinions. Sess, is an outstanding footballer, and I must admit to being concerned when he was limping last night...
Why should he need a rest? He is a professional athlete. Took a knock from a hospital ball from Larsson. (Cue a 12 page diatribe about sports diet and physiology.)
My problem with Colback Reg is he gets out muscled too easily, nowt to do with his footy. I think Catts will be better suited to what will be a pretty frenetic midfield.
It'll be longer than that, by the time he includes that no one is our team is as fit or handsome as anyone in his team..
Thing is RAW - 30 seconds (if that) before he scored my Dad and I both said he'd been poor!! Then he comes up with that finish (and what a finish) - see - for a top class, postage stamp finish you DON'T have to pay £9m - just a free through the academy will do... I didn't know he was a Geordie mind (Keane said it last night)!!
Playing every game in the packed winter fixtures list as well as cups? Players do get burned out, professional athletes included.
I was going to reply in a polite and reasonable manner, but I can't be arsed. **** off and worry about your own players.
if there is a god why doesn't he give Chapped and 5-1 an illness for a few days ,just to give us some peace, not a serious one mind, just a 4 days of makem happiness one
