Sadly I have decided to leave this board due to the lack of decent debate and the constant barrage of abuse, not to be confused with banter, thrown around. I am all for banter but it has gone beyond the pale. Both Swans and Bluebirds are to blame along with the odd Leeds and Saints fans. If anyone has any links to alternative boards where debate is welcomed please post below and I will take a look.
i'm with aber, let it die down a bit, maybe leave it a few days then come back to it, however if you've already decided then i can only thank you for being a great member and you will be missed if you leave taff
Don't go taff! Swamp can you move particular posts from one thread to another? Just thinking that way whenever people try to ruin a proper discussion you can throw what they say into the banter thread?
Taff - after trying yesterday to turn one particular thread into a bit of banter with a couple of jacks, I gave up and kept out of it when others popped up. I couldn't be arsed with all the ****-throwing that was going on. Over the past few months I've become very selective of the threads I'll comment upon. If some visiting ****er tries to start an argument on here, you have a choice - either join in and expect to get some **** thrown at you, or leave it. I took my decision as an alternative to leaving the forum all together. As maligned as the old Beeb 606 has been, we had some great sharp banter with other Championship clubs, particularly those with whom we had an upcoming game. Whatever happened to the old "Friday Fun Threads" we used to see regularly - remember them? That's all changed now. Instead, we have this constant stream of Cardiff/Swansea crap from both sides that's spoiling this forum - but only if you let it get to you Taff. Reconsider Taff matey - we need people like you on here who want to talk football as well as having a laugh with opposing fans and between ourselves.

Stick with it taff, dont let them grind you down. Your threads have always been decent and honest, and your replies are directly to the point. Not unlike other posters I will not allow myself to get dragged down to the sub terrain ****e some of them spew. There are some great posters on here and its good to see knowledgable people like yourself with balanced views. If you go they win, stick with it mate, step over the dog **** and keep on walking!

Seriously mate, I have total empathy with your comments, but I think sparkey has put into a good perspective, and to a large extent. it's the policy I adopt on here these days. It would be a shame if you were no longer here to contribute your eloquent and well considered opinions. I'm trying to find out wtf is going on... it hasn't affected the Cardiff board until recently but now but the same person, twice in two days??
Taff, rather than leave, can you at least come onto the board while Cardiff are playing. When we're at home, it gets lonely on here as most posters are at the game. I'll end up talking to myself.
