Do you think a club manager can also manage England.???

Some football pundits are of the opinion that manager of EPL club sould be able to manage England as
well.We have top English managers, Harry Redknapp top the list of candidates.Big Sam can also do the job, though Westham
are in the Championship,I believe they are going to be promoted.Bolton manager Owen Coyle is a capable man too.
After all England do not play every week, this arrangement can save money for the FA.The last England manager Fabio Capello
do not deserved the salary of £m6 per annum; it was a waste of money.

In the short term it can work, so perhaps 'Arry can work with the team before Euro 2012.

Longer term it doesn't work. The England manager needs to be free to watch the games and go from ground to ground to see things for himself. The cameras don't give you enough information on their own, and sending even a trusted lieutenant can't give you the same information that going yourself can.

 

England never win anything. And I dont think any fan has any expectation of england winning anything anymore. So all the manage has to do is manage them to win nothing....I could do that!

Think harry is the natural choice from the summer onwards, but would feel bad for Spurs if they lost him.

i couldnt give a hoot about england....too many half arsed performances and lack of drive.....I prefer the tournaments that England are not involved as I can watch the whole tournament without getting depressed half way through.

Until the sumer, harry can definately manage both...

Its not just the Euro's we have to look at, its the build up friendlies and training sessions that come before the season ends. These times should be used to fine tune the squad, which requires a manager who is 100% focussed.

Also, Harry Redknapp has had some serious health issues lately, and with the crazy year he has had, he may need the full pre seasons rest.
