    As you may have guessed, I'm kinda fond of Star Wars.

    Just booked my ticket for The Phantom Menace 3D at the weekend with me and the elder weans.

    I know it's a ****e film and I don't like 3D


    But, I'm THAT much of a sucker....


    Secretly, I'm hoping they've edited the film so that Darth Maul now appears in it for more than 40 seconds.

    Used to like Star Wars when I was a kid but thought the prequels were pretty poor. Def won't be going to see them in 3D. I did hear though that they have already made more changes since releasing them all on blue ray.

    No but they have now edited ROTJ so that Vader screams NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO when killing the Emperor

    Lucas ****ed it in the arse when he bowed to pressure after The Empire Strikes Back and went cutesy as opposed to dark, Ewok loving **** that he is.

    Wicked stories, and a brilliant part of my childhood but really pissed off that you can't buy the versions that he hasn't ****ed about with now.

    I've still got the original re-mastered, pre-special edition VHS ones (as well as the special editions, DVD release and Blu-ray release).

    The original looks ****ing awful these days pre-special edition.
