Embarrassing for Di resta, Bianchi beating him. Could be an outside bet for the 2nd ferrari seat. Well done to Ricciardo to, though we know STR tend to run pretty light in pre-season.
I'll keep twittering or what ever the word is to the various live feeds, hopefully it'll be noticed I think di Resta's best time was set on a long run whilst Bianchi's was on a short run, then again its testing so who knows what fuel load, aero bits fitted, and how hard they were pushing. The fact Red Bull are being quietly confident worries me, they either have something good or are actually worried. Whilst McLaren seem happy they have a good car I don't think it is leaps ahead of the others.
The twitter thing is a great idea and hopefully as Bright keep's posting out the tweet's, more and more people will begin to notice us. Hopefully some people saw the one on the BBC F1 page and decided to advance an interest.
To much tinkering and predetermined programs to have any real clue of where everybody is at right now. I must admit that I was really hoping that Jenson might go out and open up the McLaren this afternoon just to put my mind at easy... but alas, he did not. And if he did, then all I can say is 'Oh dear!'.
Ferrari: "The programme will be very similar to what has been done in the previous days by Felipe. The main target is data acquisition about the car."
Red flag - Bianchi crashes. EDIT: Temperatures are very low and he was on medium tyres (others are on softs).
Doesn't sound like a terrible crash (he's still tweeting, apparently ) but if it had been - the single car rule in testing is literal, isn't it? I mean, Alonso is driving the same actual chassis today that Massa was yesterday; it's not just a 'one car on the circuit' rule?
I know you cant judge much from testing but the only thing you can take is how positive the team are and im not feeling it from Ferrari and McLaren at the moment.
09:47 News from @InsideFerrari: "It will be a long break before Fernando can rejoin the track. A hydraulic problem occurred on the car so we are working to fix it."
obviously boullier wants to show his boy off. but its very encouraging the Lotus is very stable and can produce consistant laps. that must mean its good on its tyres
