    Ha ha.

    Doubtful mate.

I'll settle for the cup win, we'll finish 8th in the league no matter what, so you can have them 3 points if we can have a cup pass....

    Cheers, and likewise!

One of my best mates is coming over, a die-hard Arsenal fan, so i'm doubly delighted we got through tonight.

I feel a 'shots for corners conceded' game on the cards, Banus beware, haha.

It was tight, but like MON I felt we were the better side overall. What we now have above everything else is a group of lads who know how to get the job done. Very un-Sunderland like but long may it continue.

Good luck to Mogga and the Boro for the rest of the season.

That was a very very hard earned win against a gritty Boro team. I thought we edged the game without reaching the dizzy heights of recent EPL victories but winning ugly is vital for all teams. We did it at Stoke and down the smog tonight but last Wednesday, and v Wigan, we won playing superb football.

That's the Mon way and long may it continue, although I think Wenger will be the more pleased it went to extra time tonight.

Agreed Saturday is going to be tough, the lads need to get in the ice bath tonight for a few hours.

I would have Cattermole and Gardner in the middle for Arsenal.
We are going to have to get through some graft in there, hopefully Catts is feeling refreshed after his rest.

Bennet was a class act tonight. We would be wise to watch his progress.

I'd take the points in the league over the FA cup if you offered tbh. What say you Sunderland fans? And how do you feel that it went to 120mins? Will this have an impact on the game on Saturday?
