Call me what you want. I think Rooney is doing his bit to destabilise. It's just made BBC news too. Naive.
I was thinking along the lines of being a left back. And why not? He showed on Monday when he shackled Kyle Walker for 90 minutes that he is a brilliant option for England defensively at left back. He's also got the advantage of being versatile (RB, RM, LB and even CB). That would save England bringing two specialist full backs for each position, letting them take a gamble on a wild card like Oxlade-Chamberlain, as an example.
Dear god are we bickering over Glen Johnson? I think I'm fair enough to admit it if he were good enough.. I don't believe he is.. I can't comment on walker but I would say the best rb at the moment for me would be Micah Richards .. Gerrard is a no brainer if he is fit he should go..
What, like tosser? I don't even know what naive means. It's Twitter, you lot take it way, way too seriously. The reason Twitter exists is so that people/celebrities/footballers can give their banal opinions on things and, sadly, the press then pick up on them and invent reasons behind said tweets which mugs believe. You should look through your board one day, digest it. It is made up of ridiculous conspiracy theories; the ref is for us, the FA is for us, Fergie plays mind games, Rooney plays mind games (FFS!!!!), etc etc etc. It's bollocks, all of it. If a player other than Wayne Rooney expresses his preference for Redknapp to be England manager, and they will, will you claim that they are also destabilising Spurs? No, will you ****. Dave, I'm not remotely myopic. Ridiculous comment.
If it means Cole doesn't go then perhaps. Along with Baines then we'd be covered. Not sure I see Johnson as a centre half though, got to be honest.
Why is everyone bitching about rooney wanting redknapp.. Him along with the rest of the ****ing country.. Are we all trying to destabilise spurs?? What a ****ing pile of ****.. Never have I heard such utter bollocks.. Redknapp is the best man for the job end of.. If Rooney chooses to think the same as the rest of us so what..
Roy Keane is now telling him to mind his own business. But of course all of this speculation will not affect Spurs at all. This is just an opinion on an intrigued United player. Nothing else.
So ****ing what.. The BBC were suggesting wenger for the job.. Have they a secret agenda against arsenal?? Why does everyone take what Rooney does as such outrage? He is entitled to an opinion he gave it.. Bet there are other footballers saying the same..
EVERY single member of the press, Sky, the BBC, ITV, ESPN, Alan bloody Shearer, has speculated that Redknapp is the favourite/their own favourite for the England job yet you pick out a Rooney twitter and claim that THIS will destabilise Spurs. From my experience of what Roy Keane says it is generally best to take with one enormous big pinch of salt.
Personally I don't give a **** what the granny shagger thinks what I do object to though is being subjected to his twatter ramblings while I'm trying to watch a ****ing game of football. ITV never ever fail to surprise me with their inability to perform the simple task of covering a game without doing something ****.
I don't really give a **** what he thinks either.. Though it's fair to say he is in a better position to judge what the England team needs than most..
Nah, my paternity is over so I'm back in work and undisturbed sleep. I'm up in Brean, can't be too far from you that. (beware) 20/20 vision me, perfect!
