lol.... i am loving all of this. It is HILARIOUS.

the FA have said capello's resignation was accepted and it is the right deicsion... I can only conclude from this that the FA dropped an ultimatum on Capello to retract his statement and capello wasn;t playing ball.

hilarious destruction of england as they can only ever find an excuse why they are so bad... this is it...

the FA have slipped today by the by the fact that suarez and evra will have to shake hands if both are starting but terry was protected from it..... Its hilariously double standards... The two english men can't shake hands but the two foreigners can.... what does that say? LOL

after redknapp was cleared by 12 spurs fans (and seeing the ignorant wums from spurs who call our player names and run baout this site call us a ll names i'll keep this up) it seems the celebrating spuds are now scared silly they'll lose the guy before the next game! so very very funny.

'Arry's CV is looking good and the FA will be impressed.

I'm far from Capellos biggest fan, but I think the FA were in the wrong.

I think Stuart Pearce is the obvious replacement.

    ??? pearce??? eh no....

sorry but i can't see that one.

I think the only way we can see england do weel is to please the underbelly of little englanders and give redknapp his head.. it'll all end in tears as always but someones got to reunite the divided squad, get shut of terry and his issues by demanding he drop his cases ridiculous post euros timeframe and deal with the poison in the ranks.

    we'll see soon enough.

Pearce is already in with the players, and is under 21 coach two. Good man manager.

    Its also convenient.

this is all true. he does know the players and setup.... but the job sone at the u21 championships was deeply uninspiring and the job as an actual league manager was not impressive. thats why i can't see it.

The press will row in behind redknapp like mad until england flop and then they'll crucify him like all others... pearce will just be crucified day one.

redknapp for england i say... there's no laws nor morals left anyway so why not, give terry back his armband to boot i suppose. The "minority" players in the squad will now play with him but hey.... Its funny cos i remember holland self destructing with edgar daivds being sent home for the same stuff.

John Terry: when he aint ****ing birds, he's ****ing spuds!

Well done Fabio. Fa got it gravely wrong. Fabio is statistically our best manager ever. No manager in Europe will touch spurs. No money, strict wages, expectant fans and no history of success. I reckon they'll try and poached pardew... Or Warnack is currently out of work, ha ha!

Harry Redknapp has actually said he's not sure he'd like managing England because he likes being involved with the players every day and being on the training pitch every day.

He said he doesnt like the thought of only working with the players once every 2 months.

Does seem very odd timing. I can't believe this has all happened over the captaincy being taken off John Terry. Who the hell cares? Does it really matter who the captain is? What do they do exactly... lead the team out and call "heads or tails". Is Terry the only one that has that capabilities?

It's not like the FA have said Terry cannot play so it's not like Capello has lost a player. Seems to me like both Capello and the FA have acted like 5 year olds and neither are backing down.

In all fairness, we will get through the group stages and be knocked out at the first decent team we play no matter who the manager/captain is so no big loss.

Capello should have dropped Terry as captain a long time ago, he ****ed up. I don't know whether the FA asked him to resign or if he decided himself to leave (I'd go with the former given Capello's outburst) but he shouldn't be in the job if he thinks Terry is a suitable captain with such a court case hanging around his neck. Idiotic idea. Almost as stupid as appealing for Rooney to get his ban reduced...

I suppose "we was awful today" or "we played triffic today" will be the most oft heard phrases in English football for a while <ok> probably more of the former in fairness.

    Foreign journo at the Euro's

"How are your players liking the accomodation?"

    'Arry

"Well they're up the apples'n'pears at the mo getting some kip, they like the Peter O'Toole but the waters a bit on the brass monkey side for them, the foods triffic and the service is pukka"

    Foreign journo(scratching head)

    "What?"

I think him and Pearce sound like Steptoe and Son so expect an FA rep to do the press interviews.

Steptoe and son <laugh> Like it...Alternatively we could have Del Boy Redknapp and Rodney Pearce <ok>

On a side-note I was thinking before that as we know Murdochs evil empire usually decides who our PM is (via the brainwashing of the neanderthal s*n readers) then imagine how easy it'll be to get their "boy" 'Arry the England job <ok> ****s

This is the man you lot want.

I'd love to see you lot with his trademark 3-1-3-3 formation.

The English FA would love him.

Can i just say, I DON'T CARE! ;-) International football is god awful, and the mad Italian was right to dodge the bullet of the Euros, and can now go get a nice European club and not be tarred by international failure. it is good excuse to blow the job off though!

I would love to see 'arry get the job, just to annoy the spurs fans. ;-) Other than that, I just hope none of our players get selected this summer, so they all get a good rest, Tell them to take Rooney, Cole, Johnston and all the other mancs and cock-er-neys!

Your team have had plenty of "rest" this season between games, with no European footie, not that it has done them much good.
Then again maybe it has you could have been bottom half if you had qualified for Europa instead of Spurs.
