    I remenber 1973.

We were near the bottom of the league with a team that should be pushing for a top 6 place and a new manager was appionted just before Christmass, the league for took off the fans got behind the team and we went on a cup run. finished 5th I think and won the cup.

    Hang on is that 1973 0r 2012?

In 1973 we also drew at home against a team from a lower division and beat them at their place in the 4th round.

Is the 1973 all over again?

    I still wear Levi's and Fred Perry's.
Only difference now, trainers instead of Doc's. :)

What's wrong with tank tops like, have they gone out of fashion or summit?

I'll be watching the game on TV but wearing the scarf I wore during the 73 cup run and at Wembley on that wonderful day. The scarf is worn at every home game and has not been washed since I returned from Wembley in 73. I predict a 3 - 1 win with Sess, Campbell and Gardner scoring.

I don't give a **** if I'll have an exam the next day, if we get to the final this year I'd sell my car to go and see it, it's be such an experience! I missed '37 AND '73 due to circumstances out of my control (as in not being born) but I'll make this one!

Have to say MackemsRule that I've never thought that I may be the reason for all those years of misery. I'll give some serious thought to changing the scarf in the next few weeks and giving the old faithful a decent burial. Having said that my mate who I go to the match with has a 30 year old son who made me promise years ago that I'd leave him the scarf when I pop my clogs so that he could continue the tradition of it going to all home games. If he wins the argument we will have if I change the agreement it means that the next 30 odd years are likely to be barren.:sad:
