There's always a Scotland loophole - Scotland has its own courts. T'was the same with the Giggs superinjunction - the Scottish papers broke it cos it only covered England and Wales.

But who would ever want to go and watch football in Scotland?

Happy, happy, happy days. I am genuinely delighted.

Not sure about Harry, likes to buy his players and might not work so well with what he's given but he's deserving of the chance. Do we have a stop gap through to after the finals or do you reckon Twiffic Harry will walk on Spurs mid season?

Well if Kevin Keegan deserved a part time arrangement I think the FA could at least do the same for Redknapp.

Yes, they could. If Spurs allow this of course.

well today has been simply hilarious....

i'm genuinely watching events with great amusement.

I wonder really how redknapp got off but then the FA push out capello virtually falling over themselves to run into the triffic one's arms... its amazing and can only end in tears cos in the end arry can't organise a good defense agaisnt the types of sides that are to come for england.

By all means give him a part time arrangement and let the spuds take al lthe time they need to appoint rafa benetiz or such to drive them into the ground... its going to be great watching over the next few days and months.

Hopefully, whoever they get in will draw a line under the over-30s and try and build a new squad with 2014 in mind.

There's an obsession in England of rebuilding the whole team everytime something negative happens. For example if England draw at home in a qualifier, even if they've already qualified, its all about the need for a rebuild and get in loads of youngsters.

True, some players like Terry and Lampard need to be phased out because of their poisonous influence on the team, but I see no need to get rid of the likes of Ferdinand, Gerrard and Parker who add plenty of enthusiasm, talent and experience to the squad.

It would interesting to see someone prepared to do what Germany have done recently and take a young squad not expected to do much to a tournament and let then let them loose. They could not possibly do any worse than the pile of utter **** Capello took to South Africa.

If Gerrard and Ferdinand could prove themsleves to be completely fit then they may have a position. Maybe. So far this season neither has done so and, in my opinion, unless they can do this should be finally given the last rites along with the two you mention, Gareth Barry, Glen Johnson and possibly even Ashley Cole in never getting anywhere near an England shirt again.

That ugly bastard Rooney has just tweeted he wants Harry as the new manager. Talk about trying to destabalise Spurs.

    Are you Fergie in disguise?

Glen Johnson has had a brilliant season so far, I understand if you don't want to reward players who've not performed well in the season but get into the side purely on their experience and past exploits, but I think form players should always be included in the side. I have to agree with Gareth Barry and Ashley Cole though, on current form they aren't good enough for the starting line up, same with the likes of Theo Walcott, Lampard and Terry.

If I was England manager in Euro 2012 I would not be looking forward to making some decisions. For example there's not been a single stand out centre half this season. No one has really claimed Gerrard's centre midfield spot off him either, he's probably been the second best English midfielder this season, and he's only been back properly since December!

Parker, Walker, Richards and Welbeck are the only ones who've been consistently good enough to have themselves considered ahead of the regulars in the squad.

Or maybe he just wants Harry as next England manager?

    Just a thought.

Spurs are about as much a threat to us as Liverpool are. i.e. None.

Micah Richards has been better and Kyle Walker is the future. Glen Johnson isn't needed nor good enough, he's the past.

    He's not alone in that.

*edit, I didn't get past the Johnson thing but, as I already said, IF Gerrard proves his fitness then of course he gets a place. He's halfway there too and in the absence of Wilshere he'll definitely be needed. Centre halves? Smalling, Jones, Jagielka and Dawson, off he top of my head. Terry and Ferdinand are not needed.
