Choose the first team and formation, plus the subs you would pick.

Maybe rotate Punch for De Ridder depending on the game

In full agreement except I might have Lee in for Chaplow.

3-4-3, the best formation hands down, but we don't really have the players for it ATM.

I would pick 3-5-2 . My team that i play for uses this formation and we win nearly every game due to outnumbering the oppositions midfield which i feel saints need to do.

    Davis
    Hooiveld Fonte Fox
    Puncheon Hammond Cork Schneiderlin Lallana
    Lambert Sharp

Bart, martin, chappers de ridder, lee

    Davis
    Frazier Fonte Jos Fox
    Puncheon Cork Hammond Lallana
    Lambert Sharp

Subs: Bart Harding Morgan De Ridder Lee

I would be rotating Pucheon, Falque, Guly De Ridder and Chaplow regularly and i would also rotate Hammond Cork Morgan Chaplow depending on the type of game as well as to keep them all on their toes and so their performances would improve. I would keep the back 5 the same so they gain a good understanding as i'm not sure how many games they have played together.

All in all this looks a very strong side and is capable of challenging anyone in this league

I quite liked Lambert in AM last night so I'd give him a free role to do what he wants because I sometimes feel he does anyway and we end up with nobody in the box. Also he can pass as well as anyone and can shoot from distance...

    ---------------------Davis

    Richardson----- Fonte----- Hooiveld----- Fox

    -------------Spiderman----- Cork

    -----------------------Lambert

    -------Puncheon----- Sharp----- Lallana

Either that or put Guly where Lambert is and Lambert where Sharp is or Guly where Puncheon is - I really just don't want to leave Guly out, I'm worried I have a man crush. :emoticon-0115-inlov

Cant believe no ones included Reeves. He was very good last night and at the rate he is improving the likes of Lallana , hammond and cork may not be first picks for long.

I think Lallana will be safe as Reeves is more of a CM/In-the-hole type player so Hammond and Guly I would say

I was really impressed with Reeves last night he was confident, skillful and should of had a goal. I had't seen much of him before but the future looks bright for him.

    --------------------------Davis--------------------
    ---Richardson------Hooiveld------Fonte--------Fox
    -------------------------Hammond--------------------
    ----------------Schneiderlin---------Cork---------------
    -----Puncheon----------Lambert----------------------Lallana-----

4-3-3.Hammond as an anchor man and Lallana and Puncheon as our wingers.Fox and Richardson to bomb up the flanks and Hammond to drop back into defense, this would leave us with, essentially a 3-4-3 formation when we are attacking and a 4-5-1 formation when we are defending with Puncheon-Schneiderlin-Hammond-Cork-Lallana.
We played in this formation a few times before, against portsmouth in the cup where we played well for 70mins but the lack of pace from our defense back then cost us dearly.Hammond-Schneiderlin-Antonio and Papa Waigo-Lallana-Lambert.
And against Man utd we had hammond-schneiderlin-lallana in midfield and guly and oxo on the wings and Lambo up front.
    Same as above.
I think it works a treat, the only time it didn't work was against Leicester, but we had 5 first teamers...
    :)
