According to the club Facebook page the away game at Portsmouth is now on Tuesday 27th March. That's 4 mid week games in a row then!
3 days after Lesta Pity away game then. Oh what joy but hardly a surprise is it. What a month March will be. Get on a winning role that month and City are going up in style.
So does that now give us just 2 weeks without a mid-week game until the end of the season? Week after next and the final week (before West Ham)?
The mid week after the Coventry game (first week in April) is still free and April itself (as of now) has only one mid week game.
Ah yes, missed that one. But Middlesbrough on Easter Monday, 48 hours after a Saturday match still counts as mid-week IMO.
Its the same for most clubs. Dont see an issue myself. Far too much is made of playing 2 games a week. ffs, Hull City have most of February off as things stand so shall be alot fresher for the Month of March.
at least the club can now get into a routine etc. for March. i dont see the problem myself. the only added games are Cardiff and Portsmouth away. 2 games a week ? easy life.
surprised city agreed to march, i thought theyd try for april but i dont think it should effect them too much anyway, im one of the people who has little sympathy for them whining about too many games, if they dont like it get on the building sites at 7am and see how they like that
here here well said. or maybe join the bin men, even now thats pretty hard graft. footballers dont know what it is like to do a hard days work.
