Certainly Harry Redknapp was innocent. If he was to be guilty who would the tax people chase next, the MPs? Something smells very fishy and I should know we have some very naughty bankers here.

Evening all. I have just finished tidying the room, not just to organise the pile of paperwork that was on my desk. But it will have to wait till after Martial Arts tonight.

Even with a completely clear floor i have surprisingly little floor space. I can just about lay flat out on the floor and even then my feet touch the door!!

So Capello has resigned - I guess that 'Onest 'Arry will be the bookies favourite, but I wonder who will actually get the job? ;)

Can't see the Spuds wanting to let him go and 'Arry himself may be feeling a bit anti-establishmant at the moment - but, to be honest, there ain't a lot of quality around. Could this be what The Special One has been waiting for?

I wouldn't give him the managers job, but I'd have Graham Westley on the coaching staff with the responsibility for fitness - it would be interesting to see the reactions when the players were told that they have triple sessions!

Hope that he can do something to help out at Northampton. Good player, or he was a few years ago.

Especially with the problems he has had with alcohol and how he has come through that in such a good way...throughly decent bloke that I would like to see at Watford as an assistant manager or coach

Morning all from a nippy West West London - What a circus the FA and press in this country are. Driving home last night listening to some of the biggest load of crap I have ever heard talked about football was so sad it became funny. After setting it up that England have been crap purely because Capello has poor English and that the FA should have appointed an English England manager, they then proceeded to interview a succession of English "managers" to back this up and state the case for 'onest 'arry - and who were these footballing managerial giants I hear you ask? Yes...

    Peter Reid
    Warnock...and wait for it...
Pleat - that Hush Puppy wearing kerb crawler

They seem to forget the fact that we have probably only 1 or 2 English world class footballers - footballers that might just make the Spanish, German or Dutch squads. The rest are just good league players, but journeymen in international terms. They seem to forget how embarassing our players were in the last world cup - instead of worrying if that oaf Terry should be captain, they should be worrying about how we can find a decent centre half who will not get found out again like Terry did in SA.

As my #1 son said in the car - England are the Newcastle of international football

Morning all from Gloucester, still very chilly here and we are expecting the snow later. I hope it is not too bad as I have to go to the dentist tomorrow (35 mile drive) morning and a drive over to Northants to visit the grandaughter and await the arrival of my dearly beloved from Paris. At least I have 3 days off after my set of shifts;)
