Austria's fairly obvious isn't it? This really does make me seethe though. Another historic venue being priced out of holding a grand prix, in a country which has really dominated the sport in recent years in terms of drivers, and has it's own race team.
**** news, more good european tracks dropping out because they can't afford to pay Bernie. I hope Germany shares with France so that Spa can be every year. I doubt this will happen though because Bernie will probably give Valencia two races a season or something stupid.
Completely off topic, but passed 2 McLaren MP4-12c's on the way to work this morning clockwise between the M4 and M40 junctions on the M25. Both looked pretty dirty, one was left hand drive and blue the other right hand drive and silver. Wonder where they were going?
Interesting 50min documentary on Nic Hamilton on the iplayer: Racing with the Hamiltons: Nic in the Driving Seat
Some interesting tweets on this. Jake Humphrey said it was his idea and he pitched it to the BBC. He also sat and watched it with Nic when it was broadcast last night. The Sun apparently (I haven't checked to see if it's this bad) carried a story that it was all about how Anthony H. had neglected Nic in order to concentrate on Lewis's career and Nic's racing career was his dad's way of making it up to him. Nic tweeted that The Sun's story was a complete misrepresentation.
