Well done for last night to start with. What are your opinions on Peter Crouch? IMO he's not good enough for the level you lot are now at, and doesn't have a big influence coming of the bench so not much of a squad player either. Not a wind up or anything I just wasn't a big fan when he was at Liverpool and was just wondering if you lot would like to see him replaced in the summer.
Don't get your point there, not having a go at him I know he CAN be good but he also misses a lot of chances and where he may get important goals he can also miss important goals.
In the league, he drives me insane with his inability to generate ANY power from headers or shots. In the Champions league, he is GOD!!!
Just don't rate him too highly if I'm honest. Can't fault his work rate but am I the only one who hates that little smile he always pulls after missing a sitter?
I just wish he could kick the ball and head the ball harder than he does. Unfortunately evrything about his physical appearance means that is impossible for the poor guy. Still I have a soft spot for him and he does have a knack of scoring important goals for us. Plus he's great and those little dink headers from the back post into the six yard box; I just wish he would have a few more attempts at goal. That one on wednesday that he just headed back across the six yard line was ridonculous.
