Good Morning Leeds and Wall fans,

First things first, Congratulations to the Wall on beating Southampton. Saints have been far too cocky for there own good, looking forward to the next round as if it was a foregone conclusion, wiping the Wall aside. Are the Saints begining to crumble under the pressure ??? Anyone from the Wall board make there way down to St Marys last night ???

First thing I would like to say this morning is when 'newbies' come onto the board, lets make them feel welcome. Apart from the hardcore 15-20, the other posters are few and far between. Lets get some new blood in, and get this board busling again.

If anybody on here ever wants to do a Morning Thread, please, feel free, just pm me early in the Morning to let me know. It would be nice to get others more involved !!!!

Was at training last night til late, so this is the first I have heard about Loiner getting banned. Will hopefully have an update later !!!

Still no word about our new Manager, anybody heartd any whispers???

 

Aye, whilst standing in the queue at my local shop, I overheard a woman telling another woman that her husband was away this weekend and that she was going out to celebrate her freedom....then I realised it was my wife.

Does this mean Becchio will join Tevez on the picket line. Maybe it's the real reason he's refusing to play.

Regarding the manager - Longer it goes on the more I feel we will be stuck with Redfearn waiting for a big cock up and then moving in Warnock once he has sorted out his pay day with QPR...

Morning all. No danger of us going to war with Argentina. All sabre rattling on both sides. Maybe a deal will be done on oil revenuses to keep the argentinians happy. Another war over oil? Let's hope not.

Back to footy matters, someone else hinted that the reason why Warnock hasn't got the job yet is two-fold; possibly due to either Papa Smurf having a closer look at Redfearn in what should be a harder game, or possibly due to compensation matters between Warnock & QPR. Either way, the noises coming out of the dressing room seem to be in favour of Redfearn. Time will tell, but a good win this weekend will do his chances no harm at all.

Good to see the 'Wall doing us all a favour & taking Southampton down a peg or two. Hammers & Brum for auto & we play Saints in the play offs & knock 'em out as a revenge for the opening day? Would be nice.

Have we seen that brum beat portsmouth to move into 3rd. I can seriously see them and WHU for autos with whoever can sustain a late push for the play-offs.

Brighton will be a harder game, hopefully we can win. Think they are unbeaten in 2012 so we will have to stop that

 

Got it all in one Josh. Hammers & Brum for auto seems fair to me. We played well against the Hammers earlier in the saeon, but were rubbish eventually against Brum. Bodes well for our season if we can show the same for against the Hammers & how we started off against Brum for the rest of the season. In SG.... sorry, NR (or possibly NW) I have faith. MOT regardless of who's in charge.

 

Cardiff will have something to say about that as well.

Brighton are without Sparrow, but there dangerman at the moment seems to be Will Buckley. Cracking little player but maybe even on the bench.

Listened to your game on the radio, well played lads. Thought you should have put them to bed in the first 20 minutes but theres something much sweeter about scoring right at the death.

Thats 3 home games they've lost on the spin I think? And its there home form thats got them where they are. Unfortunatley for Saints I can see Cardiff & Birmingham overtaking them.

 

I can see Cardiff finishing the season in third missing out in the play-offs. Will Buckley does look good at the moment and can see him starting, last time we played Brighton we made Mackail-Smith look good somehow so i hope we don't do that again (I really do not rate Mackail-Smith)
