Ok just as I am bored out of my skull. Warren Gatland has said he had no doubt the tackle by Davies at the weekend was a definite red card. How many football managers have done this and openly admitted they agreed it was a red card when one of their players have been sent off? If not recently since the red card was first introduced back in 1970. Has Fergie, Wenger or any Chelsea boss done this? As I said, bored out of my skull.

Sparkey, I kind of thought it isn't too unusual that certain managers would hold their hands up and agree. It seems there is a lot of noise when someone disagrees with a red card being given, much less noise when it is accepted. Like I said bored Oh andI will put my hands up for a ****e thread
It's one thing for a player to receive a red card and for the manager to accept it as a fair punishment. It is quite another thing when a player gets a yellow and his own manager states that it should have been red. Gatland is nothing if not brutally honest.
I doubt any football manager would say "it should have been a red card" about there own players tackle... waits to be proved wrong again When I say tackle I am, of course, referring to the challenge for the ball not any dangly bits
Ever notice when a red card is against his player the manager always says " I can't really comment as I 've not seen the tape yet " ... but if it's against the opposing player the manager says " I've seen it 3 times now & it's a clear red " , both scenarios in the same time frame after the game ... .
