Right now the London Evening Standard is full of Valentine's Day "ideas". That means lingerie that costs £250 for some skimpy knickers, bra and sussies. Bugger that.

Look nice on the models when they have them, mind.

well normally i dont bother as i resent the fact i am being told that i have to make the effort. however, she already got me a valentines card 2 WEEKS AGO!!! as a pre-warning, dont you dare forget or not bother getting me anything this year!!

luckily we are going to be in Vegas next week so we'l be going to see a show, a meal and then hit the clubs and the casinos... which will probably be the best valentine day ever so i reckon we'l both be happy

    Sounds like our household.
If I started doing something now after spending more than half our lives together she’d start thinking something else was up so it'll be just breakfast if she gets lucky :emoticon-0109-kiss:

I can confirm this, my husband bought me an Iron as a gift, (not the golf club type either), it wasn't a Valentine gift, it was actually Mothers Day, he'd bought it on behalf of the children.
One day, whilst I was ironing, we had a huge row, I'm ashamed to say, I threw the iron at him, terrible I know, but I came off worse, It was still plugged in and flew back at me as quickly as I threw it.
We were both impressed at how quickly I managed to dodge it. <laugh>

If I was in his shoes I think I would be bearing you gifts out of fear of my life...<laugh>
