Scott Brown has been named as the Scottish Premier League's Player of the Month for January. The Celtic midfielder featured in all three of his side's league fixtures in January, as the leaders finished the month unbeaten. Brown was also on target in the 2-0 win over St Mirren on January 21, the first of three goals the 26-year-old has scored this season. The Scotland international is the second Celtic player to win the award in the 2011/12 season. Striker Gary Hooper was the league's top player in November, as Neil Lennon's side completed a clean sweep of accolades. Brown has only been named as the SPL's Player of the Month once previously, winning the award in October 2008. http://sport.stv.tv/football/scotti...8-scott-brown-named-spls-player-of-the-month/ Go on yourself Broonster
Keep this taigy ****e off the Rangers board for ****'s sake. Don't you know upsetting it is to the precious ones?
Thought after Dundee utd game first game of the month there was no place for him in our team , last three games he has been outstanding and deserves the award . Be harder for our players to win it next month now Broadfoot is near returning to first team action .
Trevor, still angry that Scot Brown turned down the evil yuns for us. However it won't be long until you have more to annoy you. Just an innocent question does anyone know if Rangers have created a record this season. Are the bears the first team in Scotland to exit 4 cup competitions in the one season with only winning one tie? Who was the last Celtic player to score penalties in consecutive games?.
This season Rangers exitted both domestic tournaments before quarter final stage , unheard of in old firm terms , my man with facts and figures in work told me Celtic did it in season 80/81 but surprising Rangers did it in 94/95
