Just seen on the website that we have been given 2400 tickets for this even though we asked for the full 15% which would have been 4000. Not just that but will cost £25 for an adult.
Since when has Norwich v Leicester ever been a game to worry over. I think if you were to name one of the games least likely to cause problems in the higher divisions then this would be it!
Did anyone go there last season? Did anything kick off then apart from Paulo Sousa and Jack Hobbs having a fight at full time
Sorry guys, have no idea why we have done this. usually were quiet generous in our away allocation... I think you will find that the prices of tickets at this round will proberbly go up at most clubs unfortunately! I also believe that the FA have something to do with allocations but don't know exactly what.
Could it be that this is an intial allocation that might rise as soon as the initial allocation is sold (which it will be)?
25 quid for an FA cup game, that´s 30⬠where I live... a bargain. I paid 34 quid (40â¬) to see Dortmund v Dresden, I´d be happy with that. How much would it cost if it was LCFC v NCFC ?
What's more you probably could have stood! - I think the problem is that when I was a youth going down 'the City' and to the cinema were exactly the same price - now I can take the missus and the 3 kids to the cinema (eats and drinks included) for the same price as watching my team play (especially if they were to get to the prem) - the corporate cowboys are killing the game and pricing it out of reach of normal people (or families)
"What's more you probably could have stood!" Standing is about 20 quid at Dortmund (in the bundesliga) but no good with kids. What´s it cost for a npower game at Leicester now a days anyway ?
I remember a few days ago our chief exec tweeted something about were just awaiting comfirmation from the FA and will announce details shortly after. Read into that what you will...
Apparently the police had a hand in this as we are classed as 'a' risk! ha we had 8k go to our local rivals and not a squeak? This is Norwich city scared we will outsing!
A board made up of police, council and fire service decided this, not the club. They then put this to the fa, not the club. Then the fa confirmed what ticket allocation we were aloud to give Leicester. Hence my last post on the club waiting for confirmation from the fa.
Should this end in a draw i hope we give them a **** allocation when the replay happens at the King Power Stadium
Actually Proud - I hope we give them the maximum ticket allocation to show what a proper club does - it is not the Norwich fans' fault that a bunch of anally retentive non-football fans come up with some harum scarum rationale for limiting the travelling support .... yes we have our share of 'likely lads' but even with a full allocation they wouldn't be able to travel in numbers (given the preferences on sales) and there isn't really any 'glory' in kickng-off in Norwich anyway - stupid, narrow minded bureaucracy ... and what's more it could be completely counter productive if tickets for home sections can be bought on the day ... the irony is that the smug bureaucrats would then use any 'incidents' in home sections as justification for the decision in the first place! Knobs.
I agree with this. Lets get a point and outsing them with 2.5k fans then let them bring their 4.8k fans that would be allocated with the 15% capacity of the KP and stuff 'em
