I noticed he did a substitution sign with his arms so he could have got a knock and was mad with the ref for not letting us do the substitution for ages?

At least we didnt lose though Redmen, imagine the Surs fans had we lost/ ! They're bad enough already

He played well... but maybe he was disappointed that he was unable to continue or it took too long before he was sub.<ok>

I guess he was disappointed with having to come off too. Imo he didn't have a great game so maybe he was a bit frustrated with the whole thing.
I'm happy when players show a bad reaction when they're subbed- it shows they're committed.

He looked pretty average and devoid of ideas, but then again so did most of our attackers

Yeah I just noticed he did the arm thing saying he wanted to be subbed so dont know

Dont think he had his greatest game, but as always his commitment was faultless. I didnt like that Walker fella for Spurs, seemed so arrogant and refused to shake one of our players hand (cant remember who) after a tackle

I thought he tracked back and defended brilliantly as Kelly needed some protection from Bale.

But going forward, he was clueless.

I think he was in specifically for his covering ability and that kept him slightly withdrawn a lot of the time.
In the event though, Bale didn't run the wing so much so the game was different to how I expected it to be.
We didn't show much adventure at all really- even Bellers never really took anyone on.
    Disappointing.

fair play to Spurs, they set their defence up well and made us play in front of them for most of the game. However, we did not help our own cause by playing too many uninteligent and careless 'final balls' and Kuyt was one of the prime suspects.

its very obvious to me he didn't play as well as he would have wnated to and was dissappointed in himself.

i agree for fordeck, kuyt didn't play too many good balls.
