Do you remember them, this board was vibrant every day, BiB's and BoB's in full flow, pick a team for the next game, none of us knew, how many more weeks will he have, will we go down, why did we buy, take your pick.

Now its tough, I post less because its hard to be fresh, how often can you say what a man, what a goal, what a team, whzat a result, what a run.

We came alive a little with the will we wont we buy a striker then all flat again, it worried me, then I thought, why, succes can be boring, win, win, win and rather than spend the week building up to the game I just spend the week looking forward to he game, its nice really.

Do you think we will win tomorrow, go on, we try and say all the right things, not taking things for granted, it will be hard, they will e up for it. Of course all true but go on, you are like me, you just know we will win, and again on Saturday.

I've got a feeling that 'boro will want to concentrate on getting promotion.

They have quite a few injuries.

A cup run may well be counter productive.

We will be happy with a top 10 finish and it certainly looks acheivable, even with a cup run.

Of course they will want to win but I reckon they will be less committed than they were at our place and they will lose.

I, along with (probably) most 'boro fans would like them to be promoted rather than have an extra FA cup game.

Errr Syd, interesting post about a 'queen' yesterday and being a true Sunderland supporter I am also a true republican, but are you perhaps smoking waccy baccy again?

We still imho need 8 points for safety, I hope we can win against the gooners but do not expect to, the Boro' gave us avery hard game at the SoL and with home ground advantage tomorrow night will be even tougher. How long will our good run go on, who knows but it will end at some point (after we have 41/2 points please). Has MoN made a difference yes, was it a good action to get rid of Bruce yes (he had run out of ideas and inspiration). This season's target for me, after our very poor start, was to avoid relegation, a few more wins and we will have achieved that expecting anything more atm is just silly, but then again we can all hope.

The crunch time for MoN and Sunderland will probably come next season when at some point the going gets tough and results stop coming. The problem with SB was that after Gyan and Bent left his mojo/bottle/ability left he had no plan B, and as Pubis is now, was blaming all and sundry for poor team performances when the fault was his.
I expect MoN to have plan A , B and C, but it will be next season when we find this out, this season was about survival, it may also now be about the possibility of a top 10 finish, but that is being a little previous, something that years of supporting Sunderland has taught me may be foolish.

I posted pre the first game that Boro had a slim chance if we didnt put out a strong team, it was a good team that MoN put out but without Cattermole and he was a big miss, I think we missed him less at Stoke. It looks likely he will not play tomorrow either which will be a big disappointment for the lad but I think we will cope better on their patch than we handled them at SOL. So its a win for me then bring on the Arsenal double header, happy days.

When I started reading syd's posting I thought that maybe he had become a BBBB.

That is a member of the Bring Back Bruce Brigade. Altough if he had I think he would find himself very lonely.

Your spot on Syd, about finding topic to post about....

Boro won't be a walk over.....anyone who thinks it will be, think to yourself this..

It's a replay, because we failed to beat them first attempt.

    Watch out for Arca...

Meyler or Colback in the middle will make a difference tomorrow night imo. We totally lacked a strong man in the middle and I'd have Meyler doing the cattermole role personally.

Campbell must start with sessegnon as well.

I agree with this, and thought Colback played great in this role against Norwich...

I'd go with Colback in MF. I have a good feeling about this one.
