I thought we played okay. Good to give Suarez some time on the pitch ready for the filth on the weekend.

Thought Kelly and Skerts were excellent and Carroll has got hit confidence/touch back.

Pretty happy overall. Spurs defended excellently. They never went forward though, apart from on the counter, which is why we never had any space to expoit. Strange from them going for a draw. Says to me they don't think they'll win the league.

Well spurs will blame it on missing 'key' players. What, Lennon is key? They missed VDV of course, but really they should be blaming Harry for having poor squad depth.

Also, Bale who? Massively over rated player. Put him against a decent full back and he's useless...or tries to dive.

 

Play nicely, Berbs is alright.....

 

You have to remember though - Berbs is a bit special.

Got to admit, I've been on the spurs board a lot recently winding them up. Only because they are total arrogant ****s tho.

 

Was a good match, lots of positves to take from the game.

He is alright, fair wum, makes a good living with consistent catches.

He never really makes it personal, he keeps his cheap shots directed at LFC (rather than making it personal), which you can't really argue at, it remains under the banner of banter. He comes out with some classics too, that any aspiring WUM could learn from.

 

my view:

i stated earlier today a 1-1 in an uneventful game... I think it was uneventful.

I wasn't sure if kenny would go 4-5-1 or 4-4-2... In the end he wnet with containing spurs not going at them.. which after all sounds sensible.

So..... enrique was a big loss.... kuyt and kelly dealt with ekotto and bale easily, johnson going forward on the left is poor, bellamy was out star man but caroll has been transformed in in the past 2 weeks.. work rate is 1000% better... gerrard's got no drive anymore, adam is a ball awatcher.

No real chances for either side, a few pen shouts, the was ok but not great. the linesman got it badly wrong on that offside IMO....

I think utd just saw the blueprint for saturday, which is the same more or less from the fa cup. Suarez to start from the bench this saturday.
