Greetings Swans/Jacks. This is a genuine post, so please don't take offence. Much has been made of how we (Norwich) and you are doing so far this year. It seems that we have 2 very good young managers, who, again, seem to have a promising career. I know that PL has built this team, but I was just wondering how much of your team is BR's, and how much did he inherit? If BR has inherited most of your team, then I think he has done a fine job in coming from a different club and managing to maintain the style that you play, when a lot of managers would want things done their way. Good luck for the rest of the season, apart from the obvious.
I would say maestro that is about 60/40 with existing / new so he has managed to tinker with the existing staff and add that little bit extra to the squad to take us to the next level this year but last year i think the only changes were Sinclair / borini on loan so a lot less last year. i have found that he has been a mix of Martinez attacking thoughts and the defensive onus of sousa with a bigger emphasis to attacking with more purpose when we get the Chance
Think its about 60/40 not brendens team, but we fyllæ the manager to fit the players anyway, he wouldnt have got the job if he wanted to make big changes No offence taken, a very fair question mate
No doubt imo that Rodgers was a lucky boy inheriting a good group of players - by and large. Don't forget that Sousa, as much as he got us playing largely bore-fest, defence-oriented football got us to out best league position in donkeys years just the season before. In turn, Sousa had capitalised on the great work done by Martinez, but whose team could never defend. Rodgers is no mug though. His signing of Sinclair was inspired and without him we almost certainly wouldn't have made it. Rodgers could have easily blown it but he's managed to blend the best of both his predecessors and now we're in the Prem his astute signings and loan deals are starting to pay off. If we stay up and he stays with us we should have nothing but optimism for the future.
