Hull a county ? Our county is east Yorkshire, surely you mean a unitary authority in regards to the council

I went to Bristol last time we played you lot. Stopped just outside pre-match and went back to the same place after the match. Got chatting with the locals about cider and having been there and had a marvellous time, I have no idea what your ground's like.

Nope, I mean the City and County of Kingston upon the River Hull, that's why I said it.

Things I now know about Bristol #2.

NB, please put your glasses on or like me, you may mistakenly believe Bristol to be Britain's smelliest City.

Bristol is officially the smiliest city in the UK. Psychologists randomly smiled at thousands of people in the streets in cities all over the county and Bristol is where the highest number smiled back; conclusively proving we live in the happiest place in the UK!

Gloucester Road hosts along its never-ending pavements the longest stretch of independent shops to be found anywhere in Europe.

Or the place that thinks it has the most potential psychotic killers, "just smile back and walk away slowly".

If you research a bit further Dutch you will find Hull described as a 'city and unitary authority' based within the ceremonial county of east Yorkshire
Not just wiki, which admittedly can sometimes be wrong, but also the HCC website

I have absolutely no need to research further on the subject, unlike your good self. Now let it be, we're playing nice here.

Clickety click for a quick start on the City and County of Kingston upon the River Hull.

Right, shiver me timbers, the result could take the wind out of one of our sails and leave us in the doldrums, but we don't want to be burning our boats all the same.

A son of a gun can sail close to the wind at times, especially when it's time to man the pumps with all hands on deck trying to fathom something out.

I hope this doesn't just look like I'm plumbing the depths, I'm really trying to toe the line after all we're all in the same boat.

Divided allegiances....When i was a lad of about 10, my dad took me to my first ever football match -it was Hull City v Sunderland at Boothferry Park -the result was 0-0, the second match my dad took me to was Hull City v Bury- 0-1..... Forward 10 years to 1970 and as a PE student at Bath, we used to go see the local teams- first time I watched Bristol City was in old second division and we drew 0-0 v cant remember who, second match I took my girlfriend v Cardiff and we lost 1-0, but in a car park near Ashton Gate, I lost something else- and have supported Bristol City ever since.
My dad, is now 84 and a season ticket holder with Hull City. his house is on the aeriel picture of the KC stadium, will of course be going to the match on Saturday, along with some of my brothers and sisters, nephews and nieces I'll be going with them, but to the Smith and Nephew stand.
If you go into the Hull City shop at the ground, the first thing you notice is a huge poster of the Hull city players celebrating their victory in the championship play-off final. I think that it is a great testament to Bristol City that that was their finest moment...
The score has 0-0 written all over it.

1-0, but we need to be wary of the form of Adomah, he's a dangerous player and he has the ability to create stuff from nothing. At least he did at Barnet.

I know he's not like it all the time, but if he plays like he did in the same game last season we've nothing to worry about, he looked like he'd won a competition to get to start for them.

a player cant play well every game, your lucky we had bolasie sent off as him and adomah have been on form tearing teams up, but seeing as its just adomah, we have to really hope he puts on his shooting boots and get us a goal, when alberts playing well you will lose.
