http://www.sabotagetimes.com/footba...ameobi-the-most-frustrating-footballer-alive/ Good article on Shola. I'ts spot on for me
Tbh though, in the derby at SOS this season he wasn't great. Would just flog him. He seems a great lad and everything, but if we get into Europe then we should sell him and get another good striker to compete with Ba/Cisse
There's no way he will be first choice at SJP. He's always been a Championship player lucky enough to be playing in The Prem. Hoping better things from Sammy.
I don't think he'll leave SJP until they carry him out in a wooden box. His name is Shola, Shola, and they call him the slowest striker in (The North East) To the tune of, Ernie, the fastest Milkman in the West. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2fknt_benny-hill-ernie-the-fastest-milkma_music
What absolute ****ing morons. Shola has sat by for lengthy spells, picked up his nice weekly wage and never really been wanted by another club outside of the Championship, and this makes him a loyal servant which he should be commended for? Give me a break. That Stephen bloke said 'When he comes on he does what needs to be done'. Well, apart from scoring ****ing goals, which is the whole point of him being on the pitch. Shola Ameobi is a **** striker, and I see absolutely no reason whatsoever why he should be commended for anything.
I'd laugh my back off if he gets a testimonial out of the club. He still wouldn't score and would probably be injured anyway. Unless the away team are playing in red n white!
A testimonial for Shola, Newcastle v Sunderland 'legends', Tomi and Sammy to play for us and Carl Cort to jokingly swap shirts with Shola at half time. All proceeds going to the SBR Foundation. Full house for sure.
Alan Shearer, our highest ever scorer, one of our best ever number 9s and the spearhead of our attack for an entire decade, is deserving of a testimonial. Shola Ameobi, who has managed 49 goals in 252 appearances in 12 years, is not. It's an absolute joke. He's managed 4 goals a season on average for the entire time he's been here. Why is having a really **** striker for a really long time something which warrants a testimonial?
