Have you seen his team of the week?! Unbelievable. Zero Newcastle players. No Guthrie or Cisse.

However, Patrice Evra gets in the team?!! Evra!! He was horrendous v Chelsea last night! Hahaha, Incredible. Ferdinand scores an own goal...he makes it. Giggs makes it even though he was poor up until his assist. Rooney gets in ahead of Cisse because he can score a penalty, twice?

I dont usually take notice of him but my god, this is hilarious.

Evra was at fault for the 1st Chelsea goal for getting turned by Sturridge, the penalty looked dubious to me.

Ferdinand looked so out of his depth yesterday that I almost felt sorry for him. To put him in the team of the week proves he is clueless

    Yeah I noticed that

Two Man U defended in a team that conceded 3 goals is crazy, frankly an insult to the other defenders in the league. I agree also just because someone can put away a couple of pens doesn't mean they deserve to be in a team of the week, did he even win either of them? Frankly Cisse may not have deserved a spot just for his one goal but he looked better than Rooney did yesterday.

In fairness, I thought Rooney was very good yesterday. But, Evra/Ferdinand a big no no

I'd struggle to argue a case for Cisse based solely on his goal. He was ok otherwise but nowt flash. Rooney was excellent, as were RVP, Aguero, Mata, Chamberlain. Giggs looked like a 21 yr old and had a cracking game. Him or Guthrie would be a toss up for me. But given Giggs was away at Chelski he'd probably edge it. Ferdinand had a decent game to be honest. Couldn't really fault him on the goals. Evra should have never Sturridge down the side, the Mata goal just a quality cross and finish, and I suppose if you were being harsh you could say Ferdinand could have done better 3rd instead of deflecting it in. (Was it even his man though?)

I still wouldn't have him or Evra. Evra had an average game all round and the first goal was solely down to him. Left back wise I didn't see enough games to know who was the top performer but there must have been somone better. Ferdinand although he played well was part of a defence that conceded 3 goals. I don't know who was at the back for the mackems but a clean at Stoke, someone must have played well.

I'm struggling to see what he has done wrong yesterday though. He did well and as I say the only quibble you could have is the Luis goal if you were being harsh. He also completely outpaced Torres (or Sturridge?) at one stage which would suggest he has plenty left in the tank. I honestly think the media witch hunt of him following the 6-1 has got out of hand. He has been in excellent form when I've seen him lately. I think people forget he currently has Jonny Evans alongside him who is sub standard. (another shocker yesterday) We saw with Colo and Perch, regardless how good one guy is, he can't do it by himself.

Giggs was class but Evra and particulary Rio looked very dodgy indeed. How Krul wasn't the keeper of the week we'll never know!

I love that the justification for Ferdinand is that it didn't faze him that they'd conceded 3 goals <laugh>

No it was going in anyway (albeit the other corner). Actually had a good game otherwise. Jonny Evans on the other hand...............
