If you go onto the NUFC Official Website, on the main page is the post match interview with Alan Pardew, Demba Ba and Pappis Cisse....oh and is the Olivier Bernard translating for him??!

Nice to see if he is still having a role at some degree around the club

He loves the club and I'm pretty sure I remember an interview in which he said that leaving was the stupidest thing he has ever done and he wishes he could have taken it back. Loved Bernard when he was here, he and Robert came to my school and met some of us, great bloke, always smiling.

He blames Souness for ruining his career. Would have stayed if it weren't for him. Hate Souness <grr>

There was an interivew in the Guardian at the start of the season with Cabaye and it was mentioned that Bernard was the translator. The season before he left us (first time around) he was as good as any other player we had (in my opinion), when he came back a couple of years later it was as though we'd been sent Olivier Bernards "cousin" to play instead...

Been doing this for a while now. See him a lot around town and Jesmond. Loves Newcastle and the club.

It was unfortunate the way it worked out with us, couldn't comment on whether it was greed or not. We don't really know the ins and outs of these things so I always think its best not to comment.
