My point Butthuber is that what Cisse did was not violent be it is throat, chin or whatever, he was only held, not choked or hit! And if it isn't violent conduct which Cisse's wasn't, then there's no need to give a red card. We all know as Cisse should know, that raising a hand to an opponents face is likely to result in a red, so he was stupid as he has admitted. But it dosn't make it any less idotic for me that as a contact sport, football has got to the point where players are punished harder for handbags reactions, or taking their shirt off in celebration, than very often for really violent conduct, potentially leg breaking tackles in particular. And what has my long lost relatively peaceful youth got to do with it!
