    I think it's a facial thing - well that's where you'll notice it most.

No it's an educational thing. Idiots can be bred in any generation.

What I don't get, and I a not on the wind up, but if a gentleman with darker skin than me called me a "white bastard" the only thing that would offend me would be the bastard bit, if he said my white friend then it would be all good.

Also when Hansen got critisised for being racist because he used the word 'coloured' its so stupid, we are all one people, if my mate had a suntan i could describe him as a suntanned bloke, and if I was angry with him I could say suntanned bastard. If I had a friend who was pale, I could say pasty bastard. To much is made of it all.

Either you are pretending to be stupid and not understand the context of when someone is being racist or you are really thick! It is all about using the colour of someone's skin to demean him.

    i am not a racist.

the difference with me is i dont let peoples comments towards me/anyone else affect me in any way what so ever.

also as you say above whats the difference with that and some one saying to a ginger person "ohh you ginger bastard" because of his hair colour, or calls a fat person a "fat bastard" or on a gay person "you faggot"etc the difference is these terms are used in films and people laugh at it, austin powers, dodge ball, cop out... etc

in the wwe sheamus has a nickname giving to him because of his skin colour and ginger hair, (if you havent seen him google him) the great ginger white, people laugh/joke about his nickname.....

so why do people accept the fact its funny/fine to call fat, ginger, gay but as soon as a comment is made about colour people scream left right and centre

You seriously watch WWE? That's ****ing strange in itself.

Secondly - the difference between calling someone ginger and making a racist remark is pretty ****ing obvious. Were Gingers shipped away by white people and forced into slavery? NO (although they ****ing should of been!). The history of the black race is ****ing outrageous considering some of the **** they've been through at the hands of predominately white people.

To add to that - Blacks are more racist than whites.

My Mrs is black and we often go to Jamaica to see her family, plus we have a large group of black (and obviously white) friends in the UK. The racism in Jamaica is 20 times worse than it is here. Also homophobia is rife in Jamaica - even songs with titles like 'burn all di batty bwoy' make it to number one in the national charts over there.

Oh it's a strange world - and the UK has gone PC crazy over the last decade, compared to 95% of other parts of the world.

Sheamus isn't the Great Ginger White. He's the Great White. As in shark.

What's even stranger is that he uses it as a basis for moral judgements! I watched the South Park Movie and it had black people being used as human shields...obviously society now accepts that as ok...

That, and there has been only one instance of a serious ginger motivated crime in the last two decades, compared to massive numbers of racially motivated crimes.
