    1-1 is possible.

    I think you'll sneak it 2-1, personally.

Gone 1-1 but could see us sneaking it 2-1, certainly won't be 6-0 again.

MoN is made out to be this wonder manager, but he always demands masses of money, that's why the phrase 'he's got one eye on next season' keeps coming up. Everyones goes on about his wonderful man mangement skills (and there's no denying he's got them), but Pards has these skills too and gets players working for him as well. I think MoN might edge it on tactical nous, and would come out on top if both managers were given access to big budgets, but if both managers were working on a very restricted budget, I think Pards would come out on top.

Done well so far, you've got some tough games coming up now, which will be the big test for you guys, don't forget he had a really good start at Villa and finished 11th and his bad run there last 2 or 3 months.

Fair play to them, since MoN has taken over they've been quality. Having said that, looking at there squad there's only 2 or 3 players that would make it into ours IMO

To be honest we've played man city, spurs, Chelsea and everton since he came. Still annoyed we didn't beat Chelsea at Stamford bridge as well. Don't think we'll catch noocarstle this year but I'm not that bothered anyway. When Bruce was here we were going down quicker than the Bismarck so to be around where we are now come may would be a huge achievement.

Was just looking at the fixtures and you have us, Liverpool and Arsenal in quick succession this will be a test, Everton aren't all that though were helped by getting a dodgy penalty, as i said he's done well so far and you'll finish top 8 but can he keep going at the same rate?

Frazier Campbell is also a very good player. O'Shea at the back is solid as hell when at centre back too :emoticon-0148-yes:

If he gets us to the position where we're qualifying for Europa or CL, why should he leave? He's one of the players putting his club on the map at the moment. Surely there's more glory in that than picking up a paycheck at a long established top 4 club.

I'd also say that there is more of a spread of quality at Newcastle, top players are more likely to stay when there's that nucleus of other top players. At Sunderland there's one, or two, each season who shows promise and helps the club perform better, but they invariably move on because they're in the minority of decent players.

We had a good win last night mind. A hard game. Warnock should have been off for Best and Taylor. Dirty little twat. Nothing from the commentators though. So he will ot get a ban.

By the way Kaz T. We probably work together.

Well I'd back us against anyone at home at the minute, I can realistically see 4 points off the Thieves and the Gooners. The only sticking point will be Noocarstle.

You probably know better than me on that, but I remember when we had Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea in matching games I realistically thought we would get at least 3 points (beating Chelsea at home) and when the games were played we the games we got 1 point and lost 3-0 at home to Chelsea. Also think Arsenal will treat you guys with more respect then they would have done a month or 2 ago, because of how well you are playing and the current turn around in fortunes since O'Neill came in. That said I see this one being a 1-1 draw.
