On SSN that Sunderland are up to 8th following their win at Stoke. Were we not already 8th following our win at Norwich?? Says it all!!

But this is a better 8th than the previous 8th...

The 8th of midweek is so old fashioned.

It's so mainstream being in 8th with a +8 GD. Being in 8th with a +9 GD is so underground, even Hipster Kitty can't say anything bad about it.

a away 8th is always harder to acieve than a home 8th. If we beat Arsenal, and we will, we will then move up to 8th. Hope that helps

When we beat Arsenal is that a better 8th than this weeks 8th?

I mean, it is a home win.

Not as good an 8th as this week.

I remember when an 8th meant something - not like the crappy 6th's we have today. In my time an 8th meant respect.

The Kray's liked an 8th. Never hurt anyone.

An away win moving us up to 8th is better than a home win moving us up to 8th. So if we beat Arsenal and move up to 8th it won't be as good as moving up to 8th after beating Stoke. Therefore there can only be one conclusion. MON out!!!! <sorry>

Up to eighth after beating Arsenal is an improvement on today's eighth, coming on the back of up to eighth of Norwich. We are going to have to go up to eighth for a few weeks before we stabilise in seventh. If we beat Niro in the F.a. Cup 4th round reply we will earn a 4th round draw in the Europa league. Hope this clears everything up.
